Farrina

Grand Countess of Nature, The Forest-Mother, The Willow-Dragon, She Who Watches From The Trees

The Illiadian goddess of Nature, Tradition and Forests, Farrina is often considered the closest sister of Merikira te Ruvea, the Illiadian mother-goddess of Dorro; sometimes they're even considered twin-sisters of some sort. Often taking on the appearance of a Moon-Dorro with willow-branches as wings, Farrina is known both for her generally warm and loving nature, but also her fierce protectiveness of the natural world; because of this, it is considered taboo on Illiad to cut down a willow tree without a priest present, as they are considered her proxies. Mainly worshiped by Ree-Mai and Dorro, but also Mikaru and Arrash, Farrina is the embodiment of the Illiadian nature-respecting philosophy.

It's worth noting that Farrina is in a steady relationship with Tahvihsa, the Illiadian deity of Technology and Innovation. It is said that she fell in love with her ingenuity and intelligence, despite their differences; in fact, it can probably be said that their differences drew them to each other. In turn, followers of both goddesses harbor a deep respect for each other, and consider each other partners of a sort, similarly to how Tahvihsa and Farrina consider each other.

Farrina directly serves under both Rencal Kei-Rhai and Merikira te Ruvea.

Basic tenets of Farrina

- Respect nature, and nature shall respect you.
- The natural and unnatural may coexist, but those that twist things of nature into something wicked and evil can not be forgiven.
- Protect the untapped wilderness and never take too much, so that recovery is always possible.
