We return to the party, after the fight with the dragon last time. While Volk Lesnoy is taking apart the dragon for parts, it becomes clear that this was a Brown Dragon; according to legends, an old, rare prototype of dragon created by Tiamat when she first made the Chromatic Dragons.
The party then inspected the hoard, finding lots of gold, a sketchbook that appeared to have a Green Dragon alternative version of Cumulonimbus Cobaltshine from the world of Oerth, as well as several potions, magical pants with magical pockets... as well as, much to Limni Diluvi's, an Illiadian Artifact; The Jade Dictionary, which used to rest in the ancient temple of Aesil.
With that, the party made their way through the desert of Ljuha once more, returning to Rirdrin Yerentai's tower; with a short detour to the Sasori Fukurōwashi's oasis, which then helped to escort the party there in a much shorter time. When meeting with Rirdrin, the party offered her three items; the Hand-Fed Fork, the Sandals of the Desert Wanderer, as well as the Enspelled Staff, containing the ancient spell Chaotic Contrition. This staff in particular caught her fancy, as it was an ancient spell frrom the ancient Magocracy that used to rule Ljuha. With these offerings, she finally relented and gave the party the Ribbon Stick of Celebration.
Rirdrin then offered the party to teleport them to Bayanbürd, so that their travel time is vastly shortened. The party graciously accepted, and then continued their way to Nariinels. On the way there, however, they came across a well-armored Hobgoblin man and his four retainers. This man, called Okrur the Mighty, was a local warrior-noble, but had recently been diagnosed with an incurable disease that will take his life. As such, he's searching for warriors to take his life in honorable combat, so that he can join his family in Ysgard. After some deliberation, the party accepted.
The fight was surprisingly close, with Volk in particular being quite hurt by the end. However, the party was able to grant Okrur his wish. His retainers thanked the party and took his body, so that he can have a proper burial. M.U.61 requested that he specifically be mentioned as having brought his honorable death; most notably also because he was repsonsible for the last blow.
The party then arrived in Nariinels, meeting back up with Cipactli Hatched-At-Dawn. Cipactli mentioned to Volk that his order, the Shield that he had commissioned, had arrived. And he gladly took his price. Cipactly then mentioned to the party that he had ordered an upgrade for the spelljammer, which would make things easier if the party decided to pick up Mikhail and Dareth Lion'el Griffmane for the last leg of the travel; but they'd need to pick it up at the star-port of Elmbihie, located in the Shards; Sanctospace's asteroid belt.
With that, the party went off-world towards Elmbihie, to pick up said upgrade. Along the way, MUGI had a bit of a deep talk with Volk and Philomena Snapdragon as he had grown worried, having killed his first humanoid a few days prior; as the latter was completely unbothered with killing people to defend herself, while Volk compared his perspectives as a young bandit with his current perspective.
The party then finally arrived on the asteroid star-port of Elmbihie.
