Osric Gemdelver has wild red hair and well-kept beard. His large, hawk-like, nose protrudes from a face that is clearly been unapologetically broken several times. With blue eyes and he stands 4.5 feet (1.4 meters) tall. 

During the "Purge" of Mithril Hallhe lost his right eye in battle and gained a great scar running from his forehead to his jaw. However, his eye was later restored.

Mithril Hall (sometimes spelled Mithral Hall) was a dwarven stronghold beneath Fourthpeak Mountain in the Frost Hills, part of the Spine of the World. It was one of the best known dwarven strongholds in Faerûn.

Originally a mithral mine belonging to Clan Battlehammer, this underground town became a safe haven for various dwarf families and even some persons of other races. Mithral Hall had a long history of tragedy and triumph, and was the making and breaking of countless individuals.

It is currently ruled by Osric Gemdelver 11th King Under the Mountain. the story of his rise is listed here: Curse of Mithril Hall

APPROACHES

There are two ways into Mithril Hall, the Front Gates, known to always be heavily guarded and the Celestial Gate, guarded by the god Helm who only requires the recitation of an inscription, thankfully carved into the stairs at the base of an incredibly long Celestial Stairway.

The dwarven village of Settlestone was built above ground which was a rare and unheard of creation for dwarven crafters at the time of Mithril Hall. Built to last, the buildings of Settlestone had large stone slabs of stone stacked together to produce stout building capable of withstanding the test of weather and time.
