The Lunarian Hegemony, the Luna Hegemony, or simply the interstellar nation of Luna is a powerful independent realm within the Soul-system, with influence and territories extending far beyond Luna and the solar system itself, existing as one of the most dominant Human Interstellar nations within Human Space that do not orginate from Maerth.

Territory:

Luna is the Hegemony’s core, hosting its capital within vast subterranean cities, domes and orbital habitats.

The Hegemony controls key assets like Ceres, which was annexed during the Indigo Revolution and is still a core part of the Hegemony today, and the nation maintains outposts across the asteroid and Kuiper belts.

Their reach even extends interstellar, with colonies in the Proxima Centauri system and strategic military stations and colonies in unclaimed space and systems.

Government:

The Hegemony is a centralized oligarchy, led by a council of powerful industrial magnates, military leaders, and cultural preservationists. Their government balances resource management, security, and cultural stewardship.

Military and Economic Power:

The Hegemony boasts one of the most advanced and disciplined fleets within Human Space. The LDF(Luna Defence Fleet) protects both the Grave and Hegemony holdings. Economically, their control of shipyards, industrial foundries, and skim-space trade routes gives them significant leverage.

Quotes

"The Moon is no mere rock; it is our cradle, our shield, and the last witness to Earth’s fall. We Lunarians are its stewards, for in its shadow lies the soul of humanity."

– High Councillor Elya Rains, during the Lunar Centennial Address

The Flag and Symbol

9d9dba87-8d7d-49ef-9aa6-ae27afc2c80f.pngThe Colors:
Yellow symbolize prosperity, wealth and a caution to foreign realms. White is for purity of purpose, and the white surface of the moon. The Black is for the grief over the loss of Earth as well as a sign of strength and the darkness of space. Red is for the blood sacrificed, and the Hegemony's anger towards those who desecrate the Grave

Symbology:

The red broken circle represent the Grave, with the black between represents a barrier or a shield from the outside. The centre is a image of the moons surface, with the red drop representing the Teardrop shaped scar on its surface and the blood spilled for the nations independence. The three golden lines symbolize Lunas three regions. The craters on the moon showcase the nations seven main colonies with the sizes representing their importance within the Hegemony.
