The Battle of Red Sands was the final and largest battle of Pelegon VI's invasion of the Ba'hram Desert. The combined forces of various nations of the Ba'hram Desert rallied their forces outside the walls of Manzil Jabal before marching on the Pelegonic forces. The two armies clashed for hours on end in the hot sands of the desert, staining the ground red. The Imperial forces were enveloped by the Ba'hramite forces and a slaughter began. In the chaos of the battle, Pelegon VI was struck through the eye with an arrow, dying some minutes later. As the Imperial forces began to be slaughtered, the young knight Sir Aryal Mannos organized the survivors into a desperate retreat back towards the Empire.
