Shahanshah-consort Sarai Mannos was the wife of Shahanshah Sethon I Pelegon. During Narysa's Coup, Sarai hid in the Golden Palace's Imperial apartments with her young daughter, Princess Alianne Pelegon, until they were found and slaughtered by Abba's men. She and her daughter’s murder was a great scandal which severely damaged Narysa I’s reputation and led many houses to declare against her. On hearing of her sister and niece’s butchering, Lady Meredith Mannos immediately swore an oath of vengeance against Narysa and began to muster her levies.
