Raised on a farm in the twilight of Planet Sonhandra. He was always drawn to the secrets of the dark side of that world.
Recognized as the 1 of his 6 sibs who "had a chance," he was made to study hard by his parents. Eventually made it to the Medical wing of Khalud Academy on Planet Shimaya.
Was gregarious and active, a "joiner," in med school. He also developed an idealistic streak. He didn't get the best grades, but through connections was able to get an internship in House Malklaith family operations. That's where he met and healed Alben, a House Malklaith security officer.
Despite this promising beginning, Mevakor wanted to help people in need, so he did not accept a career with Malklaith and instead went on to work on Isotropa Max Secure.
During his first decade there, his idealism slowly wore away in the face of the grinding, exploitative bureaucracy. He became the chief medical officer, and made friends with Dr. Khelanth Xhu over racquetball.
During his second decade there, he became increasingly obsessed with Precursor artifacts and other things weird, slowly and somewhat accidentally creating a criminal network by trading favors and medical drugs for weird things.
In this process, he became a rival of Jackev, who recently sent an inmate with a sharpened toothbrush to shiv Mevakor.

Born "Cutty Flam", Franky was orphaned as a young child, later taking the name Frank Heather. Taken in by Mill, he apprenticed as a starshipwright alongside his adopted brother Iceburg. Together they built ships and a family. Eventually the Imperial Hegemony discovered that Mill had created the True Hegemon's ship Ascension and tracked him down. Young Franky tried to stop the Legion ship sent to take Mill, in desperation and loss with his bare hands. He was crushed by the ship, losing most of his body in his futile attempt.

Now, a cyborg and living with gusto, he is ready to take the Firedrake and its crew to right the wrongs of the Hegemony.
