Pip was born into a life of privilege in Vung Ria. She was raised with love by her parents Loryn Jewelhand and Yosmin Jewelhand. Eventually she decided to leave home and travel Asuvia.
Foes has hinted she might have been an artificer, but this is not clear.
She traveled with Miradan Ruinseeker for some time. The two would visit ruins as far as The Northern Wastes. Given the dangers of these areas and no mention of other companions besides Lucidity, it can be assumed both were competent in their abilities to handle themselves. They would travel to these areas to retrieve artifacts to both sell and study.
At some point, Pip and Miradan decided to settle down whereupon they adopted Foes Quillspring with Luceran's help.
