Shrok'lakelev's Timeline

Candella, Radahn, Tannis, and Janes decide to leave the Boulder Team and start their own smaller group. They call themselves Shrok'lakelev.

They decided to split from the big group because Radahn receieved word that his long lost brother is in Gaka, Also, Kalanar told Candella that a strange man talked to him earlier and told him that her older brother Hanno was seen flying on a Young Red Dragon towards Gaka. So Candella and Radahn teamed up to find a way towards Gaka, and the others decided to join, escorting them on their journey.

After leaving Meadheavan they stumbled on sir Tristan who fought with Tannis in a duel and lost, he told Tannis that he works as a vassal to King Arthur and there are more people like him around Maar. Tannis decided that he wants to be the best duelist in the world, so he set himself a goal to defeat all of Arthur's vassals.

They continued south towards Gwyndyr Forest until they reached Tasus Shasal Burial Place where Janes found a Map. They decided to follow it.

After a day of walking, following the Map that Janes found, the group came across a giant Crater. They went in and found inside an Adamantine Dragon Wyrmling. They tried talking to it but it didn't understand them. Then they tried capturing it in order to tame the beast but they failed. Janes was juggling her ]">Firebolt spell until one bolt fell to the ground and burned the young flowers that covered the area around the Dragon. That really hurt the dragon and a fight started.

The group killed the Dragon and felt real bad for killing a baby. They descaled it and buried what's left of its body outside the crater.

After leaving the Crater they continued south to Gwyndyr Forest, still following the Map. They arrived at Red Ruby Shrine where they saw a lot of dead dogs and spiders and a shattered Ruby on the shrine.

Following the Map even further, led the group to the shores of Lake Gwyndyr, where they found a dead body of an Orc, with a Heartstone in his pocket.

Later that day they arrived at Udof's Grounds, where they met Udof the tree. He was talking very slowly, roughly 1 word per 10 minutes, he didn't have anything important to say, just wasting hours saying some greetings.

Traveling back north to a skeleton symbol on the Map the group reached Fefnir's Home, where they met Fefnir Thessalie and Fluffy. He hosted them happily and they made a feast together, Fefnir also told them the history of Red Ruby Shrine, how Abrams Panzer, and Eldes Young defeated the evil forces there to get a Scroll of Summon Greater Demon for the Order of the Gauntlet. He also told them that the Order wouldn't talk to them because they hang around with Janes who's a Tiefling.

They continued with the Map until they reached Eve's Home, where they met Eve Ning, a nice Night Hag who wanted to terminate the dead Orc on the shore of Lake Gwyndyr. The party agreed to help her but were suspicious of her motives. When they arrived a Siren song was heard from within the Lake, Janes resisted the charm of the song and fought off the Siren who lured Candella, Tannis, and Radahn into the Lake to almost drown.

After the fight they came to the Orc's body and Eve started a weird ritual near the corpse, which Tannis didn't like. He stopped her in the middle and aim his bow at her. Eve used her Heartstone from the Orc's pocket to shift to the Ethereal Plane and disappear.

Meanwhile the group walked to Red Ruby Shrine, but when they went to rest, Tannis kept having horrible nightmares. That was Eve's doing, she tried to kill him in his sleep from the Ethereal Plane. After realizing that, Radahn called out to her and calmed her down. Tannis grudgingly appologized for his behavior and told Eve he'll let her finish her ritual.

After a night's sleep the party went back to the Orc and let Eve finish her ritual. The Orc came back to life and presented himself as Rashid ad-Din Sinan. An Assassin who was hired by some Cultists to kill Fefnir Thessalie. Because Fefnir was a friend to the party, they decided to kill Rashid. After a very easy battle against an unarmed Assassin, Eve thanked the party and promised to help them if they'll ever need to shift to another plane of existance. She said she is willing to take them using Plane Shift just one time back and forth.

They thanked her and left towards Fefnir's Home. Upon arrival they sat with Fefnir, telling him about all thats happened. Together they made another big feast, while Candella and Tannis built a wooden fence around the premises to keep Beasts away from Fefnir's Home.

They slept at Fefnir's and in the morning left towards Mithrahall. When they arrived, Tannis found sir Percivale, whom he defeated easily in a duel and won a 50gp bet that Janes took.

In Mithrahall the party was looking for Ito Alpine who leads the Order of the Gauntlet in Mithrahall, but when they came to the Safehouse, they weren't allowed inside because they weren't members of the Order. They waited outside until Alex Tazzi, a new member of the Order came out, they offered to help him on his task from Ito, and in return they just wanted audiance with Ito.

Alex was happy to receive free help and they all went to find a priest, because his task was to exorcise a ghost out of a little girl in the other side of town. They found a priest of Lathander and asked him how to banish a ghost from a possessed person, he explained the process to them and they continued to the house.

Inside they saw a little girl possessed, she looked dirty and puked all over the place, they followed the instructions from the priest and managed to banish the ghost. When they returned to the Safehouse, Ito came outside to see the new possible recruits. But as soon as he saw Janes, he became angry and mean, he really hates Tieflings. Janes tried to prove that she's not mean like the Fiends from the Death War but Ito didn't care, he kept being mean and rude until the group left.

They spent the following night in Inn Spire before going east, still following the Map Janes found.

Following the trail marked on the Map, the group arrived at a shrine to Moloch with lots of skulls spread around and multiple dead Fanatics tore to pieces near the shrine. They didn't manage to understand what exactly happened here and moved on to the next skull symbol on the Map.

When they arrived, they saw 3 blind archers on a watchtower in the middle of the forest, the archers said they are from the Order of the Gauntlet and that they guard this part of Mithrahall's forest. They pointed the group towards the main road to Neverwinter, warning them about the dangers of Mt. Hotenow.

The party moved on towards Neverwinter, but when they passed the Road near Mt. Hotenow they stumbled upon 3 Fire Elementals. After defeating the menacing threat they discovered a demonic door that leads into the mountain, solving the puzzle on the front revealed the letter "M" in infernal scripture. They went inside the volcano.

Inside they found themselves battling Half-Red Dragons, and Magma Mephits. All led by a Tiefling named Emilia Diablos who claimed to be the leader of Moloch's cult. After long battles in the scorching heat of the volcano, and the dangers of running on small platforms while trying to steady themselves not to fall into the burning hot magma, they party managed to win Emilia and inspected her private chambers which was a cave beneath the lava.

Inside, there was a Lava Child named Kobii, chained to a circle on the ground, on a table in the room there was a book explaining how to perform a "Communication Ritual" which required a live creature to be sacrifices. The group decided to free the poor child, who then ran outside of the chamber and jumped into the magma.

A moment later a Dragon's roar was heard loudly across the cave. Everyone ran outside quick, Except for Janes who could withstand the heat. She went back to speak to that Dragon who revealed himself as Pathranaak. Kobii was riding Pathranaak and the two thanked Janes for the rescue, they offered to give her or any one of her friends a ride to anywhere they wish, because they don't plan to stay in this mountain anymore. Janes asked Pathranaak if he ever heard the name Hanno before and he said that Hanno was his old master.

Janes went outside and told Candella about this. Candella without thinking twice, rushed to Pathranaak and asked Janes to translate their conversation, asking him to take her to where Hanno is. Pathranaak agreed, Candella climbed on his back, hugging Kobii tightly as Pathranaak spread his wings and took flight.

The rest of the group watched as Candella leaves them and vanishes with Pathranaak between the clouds.

Janes, content with finally destroying Moloch's cult, is approached by Radahn who shows her a single Sending Stone. Saying that he found it in Emilia's chamber. Janes realized it means that her job isn't done and the cult real leader is still out there, and that he has been warned. She understands that her only clue is that "Communication Ritual" that requires a live sacrifice...

Candella left, the party decides to go back to The Forsaken Chambers to face Kenny. The plan is to kill him and take his gold so they could pay for passage to Gaka. On the way back toward Meadheavan they stop at Fefnir's Home, where Tannis asks Fefnir if he could teach him any fighting moves to improve his dueling skills.

Since Fefnir is a veteran of the Death War and sees Tannis as a friend he agrees, for 10 days the two practice fencing while Radahn and Janes spend their time in Meadheavan, improving their favorite skills.

After 10 days the group meets at Fefnir's Home and Tannis shows his friends the new move he learned - Feline instinct.

Tannis thanks Fefnir for the lessons and the party walks towards Meadheavan to get ready for the fight against Kenny.

Before heading to The Forsaken Chambers, the group arrived at Meadheavan for some R&R. They met Cora and Candella along with Hanno in the Ace of Clubs. After some catching up they traveled around town purchasing goods and looking for something to do to pass the time.

They saw a notice on a wanted board asking for a bard to help put a child to sleep. They were greeted by a nice lady when they arrived at the address written on the sign and Cora pulled out her pipes, but she eventually decided to use Sleep spell instead of singing to the child. Little did they know that the house was built on an ancient arcana pull wich enhances every spell cast in it. The speel spell was so powerful that everyone (even elves) were knocked out cold for 3 whole days.

While knocked out they had a shared dream experience, they dreamed of a futuristic land where a lord wants them to catch a fictional monster called Thessalhydra or some nonesense. In the dream the group fought troglodytes, prayed to a frog, brute forced an impossible maze by adding the number 8 to pass, Cora rode a Giant Spider, Candella was cut in half and lived her life inside a Bag of Holding, Tannis fell into a giant hole and came back out and fell again 3 times, all that while fighting a multiheaded monster called Thessalhydra. Yeah, they survived...

Upon returning to the lord the party woke up, back in Meadheavan. Cora enjoyed that experience and decided to join the adventure, together everyone continued to The Forsaken Chambers, with one goal in mind, kill Kenny, steal his gold, and buy passage to Gaka!

Shrok'lakelev entered The Forsaken Chambers again, they went deeper than ever, into a round room where a sound of chirping birds can be heard faintly and the source is unknown. On the wall there was an inscription: "When the light comes to lifeless eyes and the Shield of Virtue is sundered, Arthindol shall be restored". After some investigations the group decided to stop searching, they rested in that room and continued exploring deeper.

Later in the dungeon they met Ezmeralda, a Banshee who can't move, she was hung on a spike in the wall. Tannis released her, and revealed her creepy face, always smiling and only her eyes move. Cora asked her for some cocoa powder which she just happened to have, Ezmeralda gave Cora the powder, and Cora used milk from Radahn's Alchemy Jug to create chocolate milk, she gave it to Ezmeralda and the Banshee drank it, the chocolate can be seen dripping from her upper torso into her lower torso through the spike hole in her belly.

Ezmeralda asked the group to find Marlina, her daughter. The group agreed and continued exploring, looking for Marlina. After a big fight and short rest, they arrived to a room with a strange circle on the floor in the corner, investigation revealed that it was a portal leading to a pocket of the Ethereal Plane. In the pocket Marlina was trapped and chained to the ground, she was guarded by a Ethereal Filcher, Tannis killed the Ethereal Filcher, afterwards they realized that if they move in the pocket plane the return straight back to the Material Plane. Tannis attempted to swing toward Marlina who was far away, he threw his Grappling Hook up high and jumped, he was thrown into the wall in the Material Plane and fell back on the circle in the room, returning prone to the Ethereal Plane. The rest of the group was waiting, seeing him entering back and forth from the pocket plane, jumping and falling all over the place. Janes took the rope, she used her Mage Hand to get the rope down and break the chains holding Marlina. After she was released Marlina disappeared.

The group returned to Ezmeralda and told her what happened, her expression was suddenly unlocked, as if the Banshee got what she wanted and can finally move on. She aged in seconds, suffering from deep pain in her belly (from the chocolate, not the hole) and she died on the spot.

After seeing the death of Ezmeralda, the group was angry with Kenny even more, Radahn created a Tiny hut and everyone rested and planned their fight with Kenny.

They arrived at Kenny's chamber after a long rest in the room next door, but he had some Guardians protecting him, the fight was much harder than they expected, but eventually they were victorious. After stabbing the Mummy they saw Kenny's soul floating nearby, Tannis captured it with their Bag of Holding.

Radahn told the group that a Mummy Lord can revive itself, and they need to find and destroy his heart. Cutting open the body revealed an empty husk.

Wounded, the group continued exploring the dungeon until they finally reached the heart that was guarded by a Deathlock. Candella killed it with a single arrow, and Janes stabbed the still beating heart, killing Kenny for good.

Outside of Kenny's dungeon, the group foraged for some food and took a short rest. Cora made an elaborate magical trap to capture a beast of the forest and eat it. After placing it, she was carving hearts on the trees around to make the forest look nicer. Tannis, acted like a guardian of the forest and yelled at her for ruining the trees, Cora didn't care and kept on carving.

A few hearts later, Cora noticed she was being stalked by Krista, a little girl wearing a white dress and dark hair that covers her eyes. When she saw that Cora spotted her she started fleeing deeper into the forest. Cora gave chase even though her friends told her not to. The two arrived at a cave entrance, roughly 100m away from the group and Krista ran inside. Cora waited outside and started playing her Bagpipes, a few seconds later Krista came out of the cave sprinting, Cora heard a pack of 20 growling Dire Wolves from within the cave and started running towards the group.

The party heard the screams of the two girls and ran to rescue them, some of the wolves caught up to Cora, biting her and wounding her into unconsciousness. Another group caught up to Krista and tore her leg away from her body, she fainted from the loss of blood. When the group finally arrived they unleashed their full might onto the pack, Radahn hypnotized most of the wolves while Janes threw Fireballs at the from afar. Tannis taunted them to split their focus and Candella was breaking her bow trying to fire arrows from afar.

After killing the wolves Radahn revived both of the girls using Healing Potions and they walked into the cave. Krista thanked them for saving her and told her story. She was an orphan homeless girl from Meadheavan with no parents. She revealed her eyes which were dark as the abyss, she doesn't know why but Meadheavan folks don't like her dark eyes, they scared her away, so she has been living in the outskirts picking mushroom and selling them to Macy to survive. Radahn realized that her eyes are dark because she's cursed and he let the group know telepathically.

During their stay in the cave, Krista touched Janes, Tannis, and Cora, making them exposed to her curse, during the night when everyone slept, Krista's curse took over and without knowing she wailed like a banshee, knocking Tannis and Cora unconscious and wounding Janes. Radahn and Candella weren't exposed to the curse, the wail woke them up...

Radahn and Candella woke up in the morning, they found that Tannis and Cora had no pulse. Radahn and Candella healed their friends with Potions, Radahn realized that Krista is the reason his friends almost died and tried to banish the Banshee that hunted her using his Holy Cross of Banishing. During the attempt a ghastly black and white elf could be seen leaving Krista's body but the banishing failed and the creature went back in, wailing and hurting everyone, making Candella lose consciousness. The group decided to avoid hurting Krista and get her back to Meadheavan to help remove her curse.

Cora made a sledge and they started walking, the sledge broke halfway and Tannis tried to tie Krista to a horse while Candella spotted some Displacer Beasts running around in the nearby forest. Candella stopped the group and told them to be quite, Krista got scared by Tannis' attempt to tie her so she screamed, Tannis explained that he only wants her to be able to ride on the horse without falling, because she only has one leg, that calmed her down and she agreed. In the meantime, the Displacer Beasts attacked.

A tough fight took place, and the party killed every Displacer Beast except for one. Cora gave her food and healed her, while Candella attempted to pacify the Creature. Pacified, the Beast didn't notice Tannis sneaking behind, he jumped on her back and grabbed her ears and tentacles in an attempt to subdue the Beast and capture her, she gave him a fight but Tannis was successful.

Both Tannis and Cora wanted to tame the Creature, they decided to let her choose who to go to, Tannis waved a piece of meat in an attempt to seduce her, while Cora played her Bagpipes, trying to lure her in, Cora won that contest easily. Cora decided to name her Pocahontas. Then the party continued towards Meadheavan and arrived safely into town.

As the party rested in Radahn's Tiny hut outside of Meadheavan, the weather worsened. In just a few hours the perfectly fine weather became a hail storm with heavy fog covering the land. The hail was so strong and big, it broke parts of the wall of Meadheavan. The temperature dropped to -100C, the cold even pierced the magical warmth of the Tiny hut. A hurricane appeared in the distance and it seemed to be getting closer and closer with each minute that passes, the party decided to stay in their Tiny hut, when the hurricane finally reached them, it threw the Tiny hut more than 200m over the river, all the way to Quora.

On Quora, they noticed 4 Cloud Giants facing Meadheavan, probably causing this chaotic storm, but why would giants attack their allies?

The party decided to attack them to stop them from destroying Meadheavan. The fight was fierce and deadly, the giants were extremely resilient, only one of them fell down in combat, as soon as that happened, his giant friend rushed to the body and turned it into gas using Gaseous Form.

Realizing the fight is a lost cause, the party decided to flee deeper into Quora, reaching the foothills of the Red Crag.

The Cart along with the Horses was left behind near Meadheavan, the harsh cold probably killed the Horses but the gear in the cart might still be saved.

After escaping to the Red Crag, the party moved east towards the bridge, a huge cave occupied by a Yeti and some Winter Wolves stopped their advance so they made camp nearby. While resting they saw a Frost Giant running south towards Meadheavan, he was followed by a group of barbarians. The party stopped the barbarians and asked them for help.

The leader Eivor Varinsdottir, helped the party, giving them warm clothes and helping them build a better camp, while sending her friend back to Bjarnardarl to fetch some fresh Riding Horses to give the group so they can reach Meadheavan quickly.

The two groups sat around the fire, and Eivor explained about the Giants, she said that Merlin approached them in Gath asking for their help attacking Meadheavan for they betrayed him. The Giants of Gath didn't believe him, for he disappeared for years and suddenly he showed up out of nowhere asking to attack Humans. After they refused to help, Merlin opened a portal to the abyss in the entrance to Gath and ran away. The Giants decided they want to help Meadheavan and sent Cloud Giants to control the weather outside of town and freeze the portals in the outskirts while a Frost Giant will run into town and aid the people.

Eivor and her group were following that Frost Giant to help Meadheavan until they stumbled upon Shrok'lakelev who seemed tough enough that they will be a good addition to the Meadheavan defence force.

The barbarians left with dawn, leaving fresh horses to Shrok'lakelev. The party rode straight to Meadheavan through the safer way on the western bridge. The rushed through the storm outside of town riding for a single minute in the freezing temperatures, when they passed the storm and reached town the horses collapsed and died. They were surrounded by Fiends who were fighting the townsfolk.

The plan was - Get to the Chapel of Lathander and find Doh Tor. But the Chapel that lies only 200m away is much harder to get to than they thought. A massive portal to the abyss is blocking the main path ahead, hordes of Fiends are roaming all over the place, and scorching hot fires burning the houses, blocking the side streets.

The first fight in town was tough, when Shrok'lakelev finally reached the Chapel of Lathander they met with Eivor and Doh Tor who was treating the wounded.

Eivor explained that they tried to close the portals but they keep opening again and again. She said that the team should recruit everyone they see and get them to the Chapel so they could make it the home base against the Fiends.

Doh Tor gave the group access to the emergency storages, he also healed them and asked that they will bring any wounded civilians to him. He also gave them a map of the town with the portal locations.

In the church there was a child monk called Aang and a cleric called Hertzel, they asked to join the group and help them fight back the fiends, Shrok'lakelev agreed and they moved towards the closest portal.

Janes went in first, she blasted away multiple enemies in the pocket to the Abyss, picked up a treasure chest and destroyed the stone holding the portal open. While she was inside, the rest of the group fought off a pack of Lemures that were drawn towards the hollow portal. When Janes got out the hollow portal exploded. Tannis helped Janes stand up and saw that her eyes are glowing purple.

The party went back to Doh Tor to ask about the purple eyes, he explained that Janes had been corrupted, she needs a lot of rest away from corruption sources, otherwise she might lose her mind. They decided to move on towards the next portal, from afar they saw that the portal was hollow, the team deducted that someone is probably still inside, so they carried on to the next.

Tannis entered the portal, rushing through the dungeon to avoid any corruption, when he got out he saw everyone ready to fight, and Cora singing. While he was inside, the team fought off 2 Shadow Demons who escaped into the sewers. Cora's song drew the attention of wounded civilians who were hiding in some nearby houses.

A scream was heard from inside the sewers, the team decided to split, Radahn and Aang took the injured civilians to the Chapel, while the rest of the team investigated the sewers, in the sewers they found Hanno and killed the two Shadow Demons who were busy fighting the Otyugh who lives there. After all the monsters were killed, the party got out of the sewers with Hanno and regrouped.

The party left Hanno in the Chapel of Lathander under Eivor's guarding and moved on to the south eastern portal. On the way there they stumbled upon a flying Black Abishai who was waiting near the closed portal on the east. As they got close the portal suddenly exploded and the Frost Giant who went inside in order to close it came out all corrupted and started attacking everything it saw.

The party tried to slipped past them Frost Giant who fought the Black Abishai, they got close to the open portal and saw Roland fighting along side some prisoners he released in order to help defend the town. Shrok'lakelev joined the fight and the Frost Giant was not far behind, attempting to kill them. The party killed the Frost Giant and helped Roland fight off the attacking Fiends. All while Radahn entered the portal and closed it behind him.

During the fight Hertzel died, so the rushed back to the Chapel of Lathander to ask Doh Tor to revive him. As soon as they left Roland the last living prisoner betrayed him and a fight started, Roland was stabbed in his back, Candella heard swords clashing and fired an arrow that killed the betraying prisoner. Aang picked Roland up and rushed him to the church as well.

Doh Tor treated the wounded and revived Hertzel, afterwards the party took a short rest and moved north, towards Lilith's House. Around the house the fought some Hell Hounds and a Night Hag, while Cora rushed to enter the portal as fast as possible.

Inside the portal Cora saw Manes patrolling the area, she ran towards one trying to be his friend but he tried to attack her, she then ran back while playing her Bagpipes, a platform rose from the lava after the music was played, Cora jumped on the opportunity and escaped the Manes that was chasing her, evading most of the dungeon, she ran towards a treasure chest and found Pipes of Haunting inside. After taking the loot she played her new pipe and more platforms rose up from the lava, opening a path towards the stone that hold the portal open. She jumped over the platforms and stabbed the stone with her dagger.

In the meantime, the Night Hag that the party fought outside the portal disappeared into the Ethereal Plane and an Alkilith was drawn towards the portal, attacking the party. They had trouble defeating the creature because Cora was in the portal and Candella was hiding instead of helping out. During the fighting, the Night Hag suddenly reappeared lying down in the Material Plane with Marlina on top of her choking her to death. Marlina turned to Tannis after ripping the Night Hag's head off, she winked at him and disappeared. After defeating the Alkilith, Cora came out of the portal in a blast, she landed spectacularly on her feet and expected applause.

Next, the party wanted to explore Lilith's House, they entered and started looking around. Janes closed the door behind her, thinking she's the last one, she melted the lock so no one will be able to enter behind them. After a few seconds they realized that Hertzel was missing, Tannis kicked the door open and went outside to look for him, he slipped and fell behind a corner. Janes called out to make sure he's alright but no response was heard. Everyone got out as a group to look for Tannis except for Cora who decided to sit down on the carpet in the middle of the house and play her Bagpipes, from outside the party her pipes playing for just a few seconds before the sound stopped in an instant. They rushed in but Cora wasn't there. Inside, they looked around and saw that only Janes and Aang are there, Radahn never got inside with them. They decided to split and go look for their friends inside the house, Janes went into the kitchen while Aang went into the armory. Janes called out for Aang saying that the kitchen is empty but there was no response, she then went into the armory to look for Aang, as she entered the empty room she felt a strong bump on the back of her head. The party woke up in the Chapel of Lathander a few hours later with Eivor greeting them, saying that Lilith's soldiers brought them in unconscious, she advised that they won't mess with Lilith or her things.

Inside the Chapel an argument ensued, some wanted to rest, others wanted to identify the items they found in the portals. Cora  was corrupted by the portal, her corruption made her more chaotic than usual, Aang was meditating and she started poking his head trying to wake him up, but he had strong focus and managed to keep his meditation. As Radahn and Hertzel went to sleep the rest of the party wanted Radahn to Identify their newly found gear, they tried to wake him up but to no avail. Cora played her Pipes of Haunting in his ear, that gave him horrible nightmares. Janes took the Pipes of Haunting from Cora to stop her from scaring Radahn, that made Cora scream so loud that she woke Hertzel up.

Angry for being woken up by the screams, Hertzel went to slap Cora in the face, but she dodged his hand and went to sleep herself. Tannis hit Radahn in an attempt to wake him, he really wanted his gear identified. Once Radahn was awake he got mad as well for being woken up, he went into the storage room of the chapel, trying to hide behind the potions, but he accidently dropped all the potions on the scrolls and ruined most of the emergency storage. Frustrated, he sat in the storage trying to copy the new scroll he found into his spellbook.

In the meantime, the party was annoyed with Cora's behavior and they wanted to annoy her back. They rocked the bench she was sitting on and made her fall to the floor, Cora hit her nose on the ground and woke up, she had trouble breathing through her nose because of that. Janes used Mending to fix Cora's nose, she said she didn't mean to actually hurt her. Cora felt the need to apologize to Radahn for the attempt to wake him up with nightmares. She found him in the storage but Radahn was too angry with her, he didn't care for her apologies.

When the winds finally calmed down, everyone went to sleep in different places around the chapel, while Eivor and the people they saved were standing guard.

While the party was sleeping, the Cloud Giants' spell of Control Weather stopped, the storm surrounding the town died down and revealed 5 more portals. A swarm of Fiends attacked the town during the night. Relentless, they swarmed the Chapel of Lathander, the guards stood their ground for the first waves killing hordes of those Fiends.

The party woke up to the sounds of combat, they immediately joined the fight, trying to protect the church from being overwhelmed, they were surrounded on 3 different fronts, their course of action was to sacrifice the guards as they stood their ground on 2 fronts, blocking the Fiends from advancing, while the party focus all their forces on a single front, entirely eliminating the threat on one side.

The fight was fierce, many guards died, Roland and Hanno didn't make it. Gravely wounded Eivor survived the fighting, defending an entire front all by herself.

The party advanced as fast as they could, focusing their attacks on the strongest Fiend at first and cutting through the enemy forces using brute force. They strategy worked in their favor, although the guards gave their lives for the defense of the chapel, the battle was won, but the war is far from over, portals are still open and the town is still under heavy assault.
