A dark-skinned Unknown man in blue chainmail, wielding a long serrated blade on his back. He isn't too friendly, crossing his arms and grunting often; he is strict, and carries himself in an experienced manner. He commands a battalion of Satyr guards in plate armour, who wield tridents and halberds.
As a member of the Court of the Pines, Tragganor is the Captain of the Guard, in charge of protecting Hygon of the Pines. He was summoned together with Magistrate Maja by Lady Merehiki Songheart after Freygeys was assassinated, to investigate the murder scene. He confirmed that Archrdeon was the most likely suspect, though he disagreed with the unrequited love motive, finding the love letter unconvincing, short, and hastily written. Tragganor also finds Syltorin, Dolen, Sirxus and Meinzer suspicious, since their arrival coincided with the murder and was awfully convenient for them, but he isn't pushing this any further.
Following this, he left, claiming that he has a family and doesn't want to get involved in the Fey drama, politics and espionage. In the meantime, he handed the investigation off to Meinzer.
After some persuasion from Syltorin Margaster, Tragganor revealed that he is an expat from the Old World, who came to First Landing looking for a new life. Finding the pay inadequate and carrer opportunities dim, he emigrated to Hygon, and became the Captain of the Guard.
He fears that digging too deep into Freygeys' murder will threaten his and his family's lives, and suspects that the true culprits might still be among the Satyrs or other servants. His family has seen and heard about things that happened to previous would-be lords, which terrifies them. Tragganor himself is not too unhappy that Freygeys died, because he hit on his wife and threatened his children.
