Nestled within the bustling artisan quarter of Shariz, Sul’s Armory is regarded as the premier forge of the Serrakhan Sultanate. Famed across Osira for its mastercrafted weapons, armor, and finely wrought metalworks, it is said that no blade sings truer nor plate holds firmer than that forged beneath Sul’s anvil. More than a smithy, it is a legacy—built on the sinew and sweat of three generations of blacksmiths, each bearing the same name: Sul.

History & Legacy

The lineage of the Sul family is etched into every brick and beam of the forge. Founded by the first Sul, an exiled Orc artisan from the Slasha' Tribes in The Barren Badlands, it passed to his son, Sul the 2nd, and now to the current master—Sul the 3rd, a muscle-bound giant of an orc with arms like wrought iron and a voice like thunder. It is said he can bench an anvil and flatten bronze with his palm alone.

Through war, drought, and even the Conjunction of the Realms, Sul’s Armory has endured. When the realm buckled and the forge nearly collapsed into ruin, Sul rebuilt it by hand—reforging the great chimneys and hammering the cracked bellows into function once more.

Craftsmanship & Services

Sul’s Armory provides the highest quality armaments in the Sultanate, its inventory ranging from steel-curved scimitars to gilded horse tack, saddle fastenings, bracket fittings, and even delicately balanced throwing knives. Orders flow in daily from Sultanate emissaries, adventurers of the Emris Adventuring Guild, and foreign dignitaries alike.

Each piece bears the mark of the forge: a hammer gripped by a tusked hand. Such branding is both a sign of honor and a warning—those who wield a Sul-forged weapon carry a legacy of might.

Sul’s Lifting Co.

When not stoking his forge, Sul runs Sul’s Lifting Co., a personal training enclave for those who wish to improve themselves through sweat, grit, and iron. "LIFT HEAVY, STAY HARD," Sul says. Aspiring adventurers, war veterans, and desert laborers alike have been seen hauling weighted wheels or performing squats with anvils strapped to their backs under his mentorship.

Current Status

Recently, Sul departed Shariz—answering a personal request from Talyen, the Avatar of the Sun and close friend, to aid the Y’azi Empire. Under the terms of The Trilateral Concord, Sul now serves as a military blacksmith and armorer to the Imperial Y'azi Guntai, helping train their Y'azi Dragonborn samurai and improve their armaments as part of a broader diplomatic accord between Shariz, the Y’azi Empire, and the Vanir of Aerenal.

Though his apprentices maintain the armory in his absence, his shadow still lingers by the forge fires of Shariz. Those who dare lift his hammer, even for a moment, often find themselves unworthy—yet inspired.
