The Old Necropolis is an ancient and eerie graveyard adjacent to Kerkhof Station in the Kerkhof Ferry District of Seregon. Dating back over 500 years to the city’s founding, this graveyard is a somber reminder of Seregon’s troubled past. Overgrown with twisted vines and moss-covered tombstones, the Old Necropolis holds the original resting places of the city’s founders, their tombs now weathered and worn by time.

Scattered throughout the graveyard are abandoned trains, relics of a bygone era. Some of these trains were quarantined during the Amber Fever outbreak, their interiors left untouched for decades. Some train cars are open, used as clandestine meeting places for thieves and lovers. The quarantine cars are rumored to still contain remnants from that dark time, with whispered tales of zombies lurking within their rusted walls.

The Old Necropolis has long been infamous for its sinister reputation. It is rarely visited by the living, as the atmosphere is thick with a sense of foreboding. The graveyard conceals  an entrance to the Sewers and thus the Myconid colony. It is remembered as the place where the town's inhabitants were taken during The Time of Sadness, a tragic period in Seregon's history.

Despite its dangers, the graveyard is not entirely deserted. Thieves often conduct illicit business here under the cover of night, using the graveyard’s shadows to mask their activities. Myconids, the mysterious fungal creatures native to the area, are known to frequent the Necropolis, silently claiming the bodies of unfortunate victims for their own purposes. The Old Necropolis stands as a haunting testament to Seregon’s past, a place where the echoes of history mingle with the threats of the present.
