The Body of the Greatywrm was separated from the lands of the Mortalkind by the Neck of the Greatwyrm, "the Giantlands" were a varied continent unto itself. As its nickname implied, it was populated by Giants, and contained many creatures, landscapes, and magic far more dangerous than those in the Head of the Greatwyrm.
Due to the difficulty of getting to the Giantlands, as well as the sheer danger in exploring them, much of this part of the Prime Material had not been accurately charted. Local maps penned by giatfolk were relied upon to successfully navigate the region, those these reports clashed as often as the giants did. Some cartogrophers believed the landmass was a continuation of Somnum's "Head", and referred to it as the "Body of the Greatwyrm."
In spite of the land's inaccurate mapping, it was generally accepted Storm Giants lived in the southern Valley of Storms until the Great Giant's Gulf and Neck of the Greatwyrm, insulating smallfolk from the rest of the Giantlands; Frost Giants roamed the northern hills and forests up to the Tail of Frost; Fire Giants established settlements in the Crimson Waste and the Spike of Scoria; Cloud Giants settled in the skies, forming noble houses in the Sea of Clouds on the Skyborne Isles; Stone Giants lived where the mountains met the plains at Stonecross, as well as the Underdark below; and Hill Giants roamed the undulating lands and forests, occasionally crossing the Valley of Storms into the Pikes.
