Literally translating to "Imperial Home of Mountain Gates" in Scycaen, Scil-Torrenae was known to Commoners as the "Ironhold." It was composed of a series of gated forts and small settlements at the southern base of Sycae-Scyceti, in and amongst the trees of Phalor-Phaeun. Linked by tunnels, the forts were well-stocked, and any incursions into Scyseti's Reach were responded to by its forces.
Placed strategically between the Snoutridge and the Crowncrests, Ironhold contained the bulk of the Scycaen Imperium's military force, and had not been challenged by a large army after the Battle Of Sylphglade.
