A northwest mountain range dividing mainland Commona from its Seahills as well as Ardhon Miniel, the Snoutridge was so named due to its placement at the "snout" of the draconic "face" of the Head of the Greatwyrm. A subrange of Greatwyrm's Brow, it was narrowly separated from the Crowncrest Mountains by the Sylphglade and the Wyrmhorn Reach. The comparative shortness of the Snoutridge Mountain's peaks allowed for greater diversity in flora and fauna than its eastern counterpart, and many competing clans raided throughout the rise.
Though the Common League laid claim to the Snoutridge as a whole, in truth they had very little control of the mountain range. The Dwarven nobles of Brazenthrone asserted expansive domain over the central range through its member states in the Kingdom of the Twelve Mountains, and various Orc and Giantborn barbarian tribes were constantly taking over new territory.
