Aunn acted as an agitator within the Swords of Liberty, attempting to cause issues for the Brelish government during 998 YK, and passed on information of the organisations movements to his handler in Aundair. He was present when the Swords leadership were broken by the Mist Walkers and the King's Dark Lanterns, but was able to escape to deliver his report to Fairhaven.
Aunn is a Changeling artificer and spy working for the Royal Eyes of Aundair. They were raised by their current handler, Kelas ir'Daran, who taught them everything they know about being a spy, and infiltration. Kelas raised a number of changeling children for this role, but was a harsh, violent teacher that left most of them traumatised. Aunn was taught not to care, to value Aundair and their service before anything else.
