Session 092

Start: 25th of Venusta, midday, with Calliope and Dennis in an interrogation room with a Planetar while the rest of Bill's Bimbos flew up to Sanctumyr on their recovered Ki-rin mounts. Dohwar was taken further into the city by the Legion of the Illuminate. Olizan and Ket Judinor are elsewhere.

Calliope and Dennis escaped from their small interrogation room and met up with the rest of the party who approached the city on the backs of Ki-rin. Together, they ascended the city, making their way to the summit. Along the way, they spotted an Intellect Devourer scurry across the street. Debating whether to cast Nondetection, the part was beset upon by a pack of Intellect Devourer-controlled Firemane Angels. They fought, and the party destroyed the angels and their controlling brains. Hearing dozens of angels converging on the position of the battle, Nesdin and Dennis shrouded the party in Nondetection spells and they all snuck away towards the peak. 

At the top of Sanctumyr, the group came to the amphitheater and the bathhouse. Detecting significant energy from both buildings, Bill's Bimbos decided to approach the bathhouse. Aoife Sweeney flew around and spotted the leader of this sect of the Nexus Encephalon: an overtaken Zirnitran stirring a massive, polluted bath of an Infected Elder Brain. She did very well to sneak up, but it still perceived her, and the party engaged. 

During the fight, the Infected Elder Brain was killed fairly early, though the Zirnitran unleashed its destructive radiant breath and crippled half the party. Sensing the battle from his station in the amphitheater nearby, Eosus flew over and entered the fray. After passing Arwa Hathspelt's Wind Wall, he joined the fight.
