The Guild Regent, officially the Lord Regent of the Imperial Mercantile Guild, is an office created by the Shahanshah to govern the Imperial Mercantile Guild in their stead. The Guild Regent is typically selected from amongst the Guildmasters of the Guild, though the Shahanshah can technically select anyone for the position, or assume direct control of the Guild themselves.

- Following Herbert's death, Zottyah II did not appoint a Guild Regent and neither did the regents of Pelegon IV
