Description
The Gith were a particularly unique variation of humans, that were made with little planning by their creators. The first human that was altered, was named Gith and the entire race was named after him. Gith have rough, leathery yellow skin and bright black eyes that were sunken deep in their orbits. They had long and angular skulls, with small and highly placed flat noses, and ears that were pointed and serrated in the back side. They typically grew either red or black hair, which they styled in topknots. Their teeth were pointed The have slender figures and longer ears, resembling elves as well. They were placed on a piece of land that was too large to be called an island but not large enough to be a continent. Yet it was bountiful and the Gith had enough land and resources to prosper there. That land was given the name TorNav'Roc which meant "Place of wind". The Gith quickly found out that they possess combat advantages that other races did not have, due to their psionic powers. Their leader, Gith, who was given abnormally long lifespan by Refelia eventually wanted to capture more land for his people. A large portion of the Gith population did not want conflict with other races and condemned their leader's plans of allying with the Eratus who seemed excessively power hungry at that point. When the fateful destruction of their homeland took place, it was clear that the once united Gith were now split. Those who were against the war and the quest for power through evil means, took the name Githzerai, as a reminder of their stance.
Origins
The Gith were created by mainly by Refelia and Izalith, while Maldos added some touch as well. After the split, the Githzerai consisted mostly of Maldos followers.
Genetics

Their genetics showed neutral or evil predisposition, with only a minority of Gith steering towards good alignments. Those who leaned more on the good side, ended up becoming the majority of the Githzerai while Tor'Nav'Roc was destroyed.
Lifespan
Gith live about 200 years.
