When The Pack went to rescue Muriel Vinshaw from Baba Lysaga, Bagel was left tied near a muddy road close to the entrance of Berez when The Pack went to investigate the swamps. After their disastrous combat, none of them returned to collect the horses.
Bagel was killed and eaten the next day by members of Lysaga's witch coven.
