Vasilka

In Curse Of Strahd, Pack first encountered Vasilka in the abbey's main hall. She was demure and respectful for a flesh golem, and spent much of her time learning to dance with The Abbot. The Pack eventually agreed to a bargain that, if they were able to find a proper Barovian wedding dress for Vasilka, The Abbot would provide three healing miracles for them.

Months later, Ghalwin of the Grove returned with Heralds of Dawn, having secured a Barovian wedding dress from Lydia Petrovna. The gift of the dress, was the final piece The Abbot believed Vasilka needed. He carefully altered the gown to fit her frame, with every tear mended and every yellowed thread replaced. Once her training was complete, the two dictated letters of invitation, and The Abbot restored the old warped pine carriage that had sat in the abbey courtyard for decades. Rather than harnessing Horses to it, he instead was pulled by dozens of Mongrelfolk, who also bore supplies to feed them for a long journey.

This caravan carried the letters to the homes of the uneasy residents of Krezk, and emptied the Abbey, then traveled the Old Svalich Road for weeks. They stopped in Vallaki to press invitations into the hands of the townsfolk, and The Abbot healed the mind of Stella Wachter at Ghalwin's request. They continued on to Castle Ravenloft, where Strahd welcomed them, and agreed to the marriage. However, the Count turned at the last moment and attacked, resulting in the bloody carnage of the Vasilkan Wedding.

Vasilka attacked by Strahd in front of the wedding party, but even though the vampire thought her a gross imitation of Ireena Kolyana, he could not bring himself to kill her. Instead, he brought her into his bedroom and let her run amok in his castle. Strahd grew fixated on the flesh golem, and eventually moved Ireena to the North Tower, abusing Vasilka with malice that the construct could not understand.
