In Search For The Silver Dragon, Nihima lead her pack against a party of adventurers encroaching across the drawbridge. She was successfully conned by the Warlock Mormeros Fayan that a horde of Underdark monsters were approaching; supposedly, if allowed inside, the adventurers would get ride of the Tomb Tapper. She consented, allowing them access, and prepared to defend the Hideout against a threat that never came.
A Winter Wolf raised in the southern Crowncrest Mountains, Nihima was part of a special pack of wolves. Across generations, she and her pack were sworn to the ancient Silver Dragon Argynvost. The great dragon had them watch over the drawbridge of the Silver Dragon's Hideout and alert the knights inside of threats. In turn, the Order of the Silver Dragon would assist in defending their nearby cave next to the hideout, which led to an Underdark passage to nearby mountains that contained many types of prey.
Nihima quickly grew larger, faster, and wiser than her fellow winter wolves, and was elected leader of her pack once she was fully grown. No knights had ever appeared from the Hideout in her parent's generation, and it was thought that the place was abandoned and her ancient pact unneeded. However, under her watch, there developed a problem; a Tomb Tapper had tunneled its way into the Hideout, and locked itself inside using the Hideout's arcane defenses. With no way in or out, the wolves were left in limbo.
