Sara was purchased by Heralds of Dawn in Curse Of Strahd alongside three of the stable's other riding horses. She was given a new nickname by the adventurers, "Sarah Jessica Parker", as were her fellow riding horses "Pony Danza" and "Whinny Houston."
While used as transport along the Old Svalich Road as normal, she was also employed to be part of a strange type of watercraft: Tobias Villie Broadnose Cogsmith cast a Spell to allow her to walk on water, propelling a boat across Lake Zarovich alongside her fellow horses and Verity. After the adventure, the horses were brought to Argynvostholt, serving the small community until the Slaying Of Strahd.
