Start: Evening of the 14th of Houden in the Grung Goblet Tavern.
Aoife Sweeney bought some colored sand and glitter for Arwa Hathspelt's cannon presentation. Otto Ozzley and Rohtagels spent the evening playing Nightcrawlers with Puddlch. Calliope entertained the idea of re-heisting Unknown.
After a long rest, the gang awoke the morning of the 15th of Houden in various inns across Sedesend, gathering again at the Grung Goblet Tavern. Aoife Sweeney gave Tori an invite to Serenity's Manzilday Celebration, and everyone headed to Threads by Peche. Otto Ozzley and Calliope bought a collection of musical ties (guitar, keyboard, slide whistle), planning to gift one to Shell Silverstein at the party tonight. Aoife Sweeney bought a set of Long Johns of Holding (bright red, bag of holding in the butt flap). Arwa Hathspelt talked about connecting with an old artificer contact, Leminy Gilcog, apprentice of the late Artie O'Fisher (COD explosion during experimentation). Arwa Hathspelt also bought the black powder necessary for her cannon creation from Godfrey at the Everweld (required a forged artificer's license from Aoife Sweeney).
The Bill's Bimbos then moved to the Moonlit Haven, a twilight-themed inn in the northern Cobble Ward currently managed by a friend of Arwa's mother, Maria Silva. It was here that Arwa Hathspelt constructed her firework cannonballs (green/brown colored powder to create a turtle in the airborne exploding powder).
That evening, the squad got dressed up and made their way to Serenity's estate on the Ridge Ward. Approaching, everyone presented invitations and entered, save for Rohtagels who stayed on the exterior, in the garden.
The party was held up at the front desk for weapon check. Arwa Hathspelt was stopped for the bombs in her backpack. After some arguing, Resnoa Willow came up and very snidely vouched for their creations. Resnoa spoke down to Arwa, and Aoife Sweeneysprung to action, very obviously tripping Resnoa. Evanya caught her with a light gust, and the pair entered the estate.
Upon entering the party, Otto Ozzley and Puddlch ran off to the mud room. The group observed the following attendees: Xan'alith'alan and Azaetha Starstride mingling with Vogel and other politicians; Kaelen Dawnbringer and Godfrey (who was wishing he was anywhere but there) exchanging niceties with the guests, and Calliope found a group of gnomes near the base of the stairs. Led by one Baldwin the Bold, the group of independent bards decided to ambush Shell Silverstein with their musical talents. Also at the stairs was Daxar Darkstone, Brax Bonebrute, and Fozias Frightforge speaking to Orin Stonegrasp. Orin Stonegrasp left, and Otto Ozzley and Calliope approached the Skallywag Squad. They all spoke for a moment before being invited into the basement to speak more securely.
The Bill's Bimbos and the Skallywag Squad met in the basement of Serenity's home. Fozias Frightforge confirmed they killed Herald Oraleur Sylwes, claiming he was an agent or under the influence of a group known as the Unknown. They killed him, used his info to find the Earthsplitter, and have since traded the sword for a set of Amethyst Amulets. They identified the man they made the trade with as Amalar Crys, a prefect at Astralreach Academy. Amalar Crys is apparently at the party as well. Calliope brought up the threat of Mother below Mazraea. Daxar Darkstone was dismissive, focusing his and the squad's current ire back towards Morgo the Maleficent. They invited Otto Ozzley to rejoin them int heir quest.
Meanwhile, outside of the party, Rohtagels met Ereus Sol'ahn (brass dragon clan member from Pylae), a nice guy from Pylae. They talked about disliking the social atmosphere and began meditating in the garden.
The session ended with everyone in the basement hearing the discordant sounds of the gnome bards striking up their instruments: Shell Silverstein has arrived.
