Start: 15th of Airtifae, midday, atop Solithar's Spire with Qafiali in his true form wielding Earthsplitter having just opened the Ends of Empyrean enough to only let Beskem return to Al'tehrun. Magnus "Johnson" Thaumalor is present and severely damaged from the Prismatic Pillar, and Basilius Rex is now on the Material Plane in his hell hound form alongside the party.
The party decided to banish and set to slumber Mother under the surface of the small moon Orchuun.
Beskem made his initial proclamation speech:
"Inhabitants of Al'tehrun, devout and independent, studious and gifted, heroes and citizens: you all have been led astray. Those amongst your ranks who are selfish and harbor you ill intent have been allowed to rise in the society you have created. The corrupt, the cruel, the ambitious. It is not your fault. Your environment encouraged that, but no longer. I am the first amongst your pantheon to return, but all others shall take our rightful place back on this plane.
We had helped establish the Ends of Empyrean because we thought it the best course to preserve you and ensure you're development. This was proven wrong by the past millennium of selfishness, this Gait era you have walked alone. We shall guide you once again, and you will not lose the path.
The city beneath me stands as a bastion of arrogance, with the highest of those wielding the greatest powers we had bestowed for their own advancement rather than the betterment of the masses. No longer. Henceforth, all shall be granted equal access to the favors of the divine. And those who covet power shall have their course corrected."
At this moment, everyone recovered from their blindness and restrained conditions, and the party saw Qafiali ahead of them, holding the sword reverently and with a wild look in his eyes and smile. Initiative was rolled, and Beskem acted before all else, summoning his sword, growing it to his scale, and swinging it al Solithar's Spire. He cleaved the top of the mountain off and sent Qafiali, Bill's Bimbos, Magnus "Johnson" Thaumalor, the Ruins of Solithar,and the roofs of the Citadel and the tallest towers of Astralreach Academy all careening off about a mile to the east of Sedesend. A quick feather fall helped keep the party and Magnus "Johnson" Thaumalor alive. Everyone took massive damage but they survived. They looked back to see Beskem sheathe Earthsplitter into the ground and
Magnus "Johnson" Thaumalor teleported the party back to Astralreach Academy and walked through the crowds of students who were busily getting to repairs (save for the Enchantment school students, who Calliope scared into helping). They spoke with Dekalb Murkus, and tried to get a group to consult on the current situation. They teleported to Castle Darkstone and spoke with Arix and the Skallywag Squad. Here, they spotted the armored midsection of Beskem off to the west, seeing that he had moved over towards the Duvonte region now. With a high perception check from Aoife Sweeney and added context and senses from Basilius Rex, the group spotted Celestials flying in from the sky, from Seraphar. Basilius Rex shared he felt Lystellbor and Bellua were on the fringes of the Ends of Empyrean and they were pushing forces onto Al'tehrun from their respective planes - Celestials from Seraphar and Fiends and Monstrosities from Void. At that, the group contacted Azaetha Starstride and learned that Qir'ellan'alak was currently holding out a wave of monsters pouring up from the Black Pit. The group teleported in, met with Janzy Slipquill and Xan'alith'alan and Azaetha Starstride, and positioned themselves to help defeat or redirect the waves of monsters coming up against the hastily summoned barrier which the Illithid were assisting in maintaining.
End: 15th of Airtifae, evening, in Qir'ellan'alak facing the hordes of Bellua's forces coming up from the Black Pit.
