Lau Hao-yu

Description

Pare to the Lau children. They were married to Lau Ruolan.

There was some controversy regarding the young noble Hao-yu's engagement into the Lau family: religious recluses with a foothold in Límíng's entertainment industry and a generational debt to the most powerful clan in Quyan. Quiet, mild-mannered Hao-yu passed no judgment, and came to regard their husband as a trusted partner and colleague.

Though they were a co-founder of Lau Studios, they served mostly as Ruolan's advisor, and took on the tasks that weren't public-facing. They were once closest with their old friend, Thanh, who confided in them and always knew what to make of Hao-yu's contemplative silences.

Within the Campaign

Hao-yu, like the rest of their family, was taken by demonic influence and cast into black pumice stone. Since then, a demon has been formed in their image: a spellcaster, focusing on support for their family and incapacitation of their foes.
