Ostrog Tuskbreaker

Second Rider

The Second Rider of Khazalet, Ostrog was considered the most fearsome Brute in the city, having made a name for himself in the Ruckus Ring. Despite this ferocity in battle, the Orc was also known for his passion and chivalry, overcoming the typical biases and stereotypes of his lineage. He was recorded as having fought over a hundred battles against raiders, creatures, and monsters to defend his homeland. In addition to being famous for his remarkably long tenure in the Riders of Khazalet, he was an accomplished Horseman and marksman.

As he aged, Ostrog was promoted to Second Rider, though he never advanced past the position; instead, he outlived other First Riders who spoke more calmly and thoughtfully than him. Though he sometimes lacked the decorum needed for someone of his station, his reputation as both a soldier and tactician were well-respected. As such, when he noticed that Rider Ukaad-Ogu Kessarum was an exceptional leader, his peers listened as he nominated him to become a Torchwarden of the Council of Commonlight.

When First Rider Rhoya Quickfeather had to leave for inter-Common League affairs, Ostrog was delegated to handle large matters affecting the city, with smaller tasks given to Third Rider Yannick Azizi.
