A famous legionary from Umbirch, Yilmaz Mylenthalas devoted his life to becoming a soldier. Incredibly strong in both will and body, he grew to be a famous legionary, protecting Umbirch from threats below the Jawstone Divide as well as those from the disparate armies of northern nations. He became famous in Umbirch for brokering peace with Iodun Myrdinn despite stubborn resistance from his city council, and he was remembered as a proud figure for peace in his home city.
As a term of surrender, Yilmaz left Umbirch to fight battles alongside Iodun, and was an important part in the success of Common League conquests. He was named the leader of the northern army, claiming many territories and negotiating territory claims. This string of victories ended at the Battle Of Sylphglade, a surrender that ultimately prevented the League from incorporating the Scycaen Imperium.
As Yilmaz's army was captured and taken for trial in Scil-Qallis, he successfully negotiated for pardon and the lives of his men by the Imperator Riyissan Terrescel. In exchange for an official treaty of peace, the Terrescel family pardoned Yilmaz and his army, who left Scycae unaccosted. He eventually road south and assisted in fending off the Undead of Elthys in the Unholy Siege Of Fort Verdane.
Yilmaz was one of the lords present during Common Unification, and ended up retiring in Umbirch, passing away from old age alongside his family. Despite his surrender at Scyseti's Cut, he was still well-regarded in Common history both as a legionary and tactician.
