Mariam Bikram

Mariam was born and raised in Lower Cliffsunder, to a poor family of dockworkers who absolutely prized responsibility above all else. Perceptive and agile, she found she was adept at guarding docked ships along the Grandport, and eventually chanced into an encounter with Doctor Alda Arkin. The doctor hired her to became a shift captain of the guards of the Cliffsunder Museum of Natural History, where she generally patrolled near the most valuable artifacts.

Mariam was a very serious individual, unstayed by the unexpected and always ready to do her duty. Her age was belied by the fastidiousness she brought to her role, and she earned the respect of those under her, including Grendor Battleaxe and Clarc Pendergilt-Vanth.
