Grendor Battleaxe

Born to a low-status clan of Brazenthrone bodyguards, Grendor grew up roaming the Fencrest Foothills. His Dwarven kin guarded those that sought rare ore, and he spent many years listlessly growing up. Not particularly talented at fighting, smithing, mining, or trading, Grendor moved to Cliffsunder as a young man to learn more about the Common world, but would end up doing what he knew; he was hired as a guard by Alda Arkin for the Cliffsunder Museum of Natural History, and was frequently placed as a face outside the door.

Grendor was known for being sociable, and was considered one of the most reliable in his position by his young shift captain Mariam Bikram. A follower of Umera, he was stubborn in his work, but open-minded in his life, especially by dwarven standards, and enjoyed hearing about other ideologies.
