Werewolf Den

The Werewolf Den was carved deep in the northern Balinok Mountains, hidden in the Svalich Woods. Originally founded by the children of the Wolf-Father, a blend of native Barovians and forest-folk alike, the Den was connected to a cave complex west of Lake Baratok. 

Inside the den were effigies dedicated to Mother Night, and though it was a place of community for those outcast from Krezk and Vallaki, the den was always a source of ideological schisms. All who permanently resided there had undergone the process of Lycanthropy to become Werewolves, and were naturally combative and savage.

As a place of fighting, death, and savagery, several spirits were thought to live in the Den. Among them, the Wolf-Father himself was believed to reside there, giving advice to the pack; however, he could only be spoken to by the strongest of his children.
