The only Common League territory south of Greatwrym's Gullet, Ashenport was located on the Ashwater River at the edge of the Ashen Ring. Depending on the day, the river's waters could be grey and poisoned from the tempestuous Emberpeaks, and on days where it's skies were choked with smoke, some did not venture from their houses at all.
The community faced many threats, often pulling up monstrous Beasts ot Elementals from the waters or facing monstrous threats wandering up from the Sea of Trees. Living hard lives, Ashenport's small and poor population was highly devoted to the church of Asanye, and many villagers got by via trade with merchants on the road from Fort Creechling.
South of Ashenport was Fortune's Bridge, a lawless area that smugglers and slavers used to avoid paying dock fees.
