Gadof Blinsky

A heavyset man who wore a moth-eaten jester's cap for most of the day, Gadof Blinsky operated Blinsky Toys in Vallaki. He was a known character in the community as he spoke with a heavily nasal affection and marked all of his wares with the tagline "Is No Fun, Is No Blinsky!". His work was driven purely by his creativity, and every one his toys was twisted, depressive, or perverted with dark humor. Referring to himself as "a Wizard of tiny wonders," Gadof was depressed, as very few Barovians were interested in his toys or in talking to him.

He was only able to keep his shop open due to the business of the Burgomaster Vargas Vallakovich, who provided a couple of gold pieces of month to make decorations for his constant festivals. He also sold bespoke dolls resembling Ireena Kolyana to Izek Strazni, who custom ordered the dolls. Feeling empathy for the lonely toymaker, the traveler Rudolph van Richten gave him his pet Capuchin Monkey, Piccolo. Gadof maintained an uneasy relationship with the temperamental chimp, but ultimately appreciated the company.
