Henrik van der Voort

A mediocre carpenter of ill temper, Henrik was the proprietor of Vallaki's Coffin Maker's Shop, rarely ever leaving his abode. He was known to be a troubled, lonely man, and few desired his company as he directly profited off the deaths of others. He made a living by providing coffins to Saint Andral's Church and by constructing wooden structures for the Baron Vargas Vallakovich.

In old age, Henrik was approached by a nobleman named Vasili von Holtz, who offered 100 gold pieces to remove the bones of Saint Lugdana Andral from the church. He attempted to convince the gravedigger Milivoj Temesvari to divulge the church's secrets, though the boy did not relent. Eventually, Vasili returned with six Vampire Spawn, who stayed upstairs in the shop, keeping watch on the gravedigger. Vasili promised that he would make the plan work, then left. Milivoj eventually fell sick, and approached Henrik with the bones in exchange for 70 gold pieces, though the coffinmaker never provided the money to the boy and boarded up the shop.
