Start: 26th of Houden, morning in the hut of Burub with Argus von Steinberg now reincarnated a second time as a male Earth Genasi.
Preparing the Alkilith for the portal to Trennen Faedis, the Bill's Bimbos took a week of downtime. Aoife Sweeney and Calliope worked as entertainment for the Depthsong Tavern while Nesdin aids Xan'alith'alan with the portal. Calliope also snuck back into the the goblin warrens and was seen exploding Forthild with a shatter spell, killing about a dozen other goblins and scattering his chair and newly-displayed wand. Calliope got shot at and sliced before teleporting to safety and naming Ballidyr Josephon as the next target of the List of Swansong.
On the morning of the 5th of Excitas, the Bill's Bimbos gathered at the Mind's Eye Observatory and found Xan'alith'alan and Nesdin with a swirling, colorful portal within the bucket which contained the Alkilith. Aoife Sweeney jumped in first, and the rest followed into the star-scattered extra-planar expanse of Trennen Faedis.
The group spotted a grey structure in one direction and flew forward using their minds in this space. They approached the floating, broken stone brick walkway towards the impossibly large entrance of the temple. The front of the temple had 6 pillars, with 7 entrances between them and on the sides, which the Bill's Bimbos chose to enter the center path.
First, the team walked through the 1st chamber, the endless and dark hallway. Aoife Sweeney imagined seeing the door at the end, and the door came into view shortly.Additionally, the team were thinking about light, and trying to see further.
Opening the door, they entered the 2nd chamber - endless heat and light on all sides, with the stone walkway extending forward into a staircase. Above, towards the top of the stairs, is a star slightly curving to the sides and taking up the entirety of view even looking to the sides and up. They began to move forward, and the stairs began to roll up behind them, expelling lava and heat towards the Bill's Bimbos as they picked up speed and ran up the stairs. Xan'alith'alan, Calliope, and Rohtagels were at the back and took the brunt of the damage before they reached the top of the stairs and burst through the next door. Calliope was imagining rocket boots, Aoife Sweeney was imagining wings, and most of the party were imagining various ways to reduce the heat.
The 3rd chamber was veiled in impenetrable darkness, blinding everyone. Aoife Sweeney used her wings and Calliope used his rocket boots, and they flew off into the darkness. The remaining characters immediately lost one another and attempted to move forward. Argus von Steinberg, Xan'alith'alan, and Rohtagels were quickly lost in an unseeing labyrinth, lost on their own for several hours and exhausting themselves significantly before reconvening with their teammates. Aoife Sweeney, Calliope, and Arwa Hathspelt moved forward unencumbered and found the door immediately, turning around to see their friends wander out of the darkness mere moments later (significant difference in perceived time passed here). Rohtagels began imagining 1,000,000 gold-worth health potions as well as an Infinident (a trident with an infinite amount of prongs at the head of the weapon), Calliope imagined wings as well, and the party agreed to imagine proper lighting and sight.
The 4th chamber was a square chamber, about 200 feet long, lined along the walls with statues of armored warriors wielding Infinidents. The group found their imagined items and situations were not exactly positive in this chamber: Rohtagels grabbed an Infinident, saw it begin to grow, and decided against messing with the black hole-creating weapon. Rohtagels also found a bag of healing potions, and found he couldn't drink it because the price tag was more than his current gold total. Calliope sprouted wings, but they were small and ineffective.
Crossing the room, Aoife Sweeney and Rohtagels found themselves shrinking, and became 17 years younger with Rohtagels now not strong enough to wear his heavy shell armor. Arwa Hathspelt also crossed the room and aged 17 years, while casting Enlarge on Rohtagels to enable him to wear his armor again. Calliope and Argus von Steinberg teleported across the room, unaffected. Xan'alith'alan crossed the room and had no perceived change to their age. Due to this, Arwa Hathspelt's speed was reduced by 5 feet, while Aoife Sweeney and Rohtagels are now 5 feet faster. Everyone having reached the other side of the room, the team all agreed to only imagine the Sphinx and opened the door.
The final chamber of Trennen Faedis was before the Bill's Bimbos: a smaller stone brick chamber with a hole in the center of the floor and above it in the ceiling, stairs going up on the left, wild growth on the right, and a tiered platform at the back of the room with Falun Terani resting their. She greeted the party, congratulating them on making it here adn indicated that she has not had visitors in quite a long time. She confirmed that she is the keeper of the whereabouts of the Codas, and presented one final question for the group: what is her name?
