Morgantha

Morgantha was a Night Hag of middling power, and the oldest of Baba Lysaga's coven network, having been summoned by Lysaga from the Lower Realms before the Wedding That Never Was. Once trapped in Barovia, she became a fixture of the greater coven, and murdered hunters and trappers who wandered into the Svalich Woods. From the bodies of the men she killed, she eventually sired Bella Sunbane and Offalia Wormwriggle in the ruins of Berez.

Looking to form a true coven with her daughters, Morgantha headed east of the swamps and found the dilapidated Durst Windmill, she took it over with her daughters and renamed it "Old Bonegrinder". She learned to bake her Dream Pastries from the bones of children, and took kids from the village and the town of Vallaki by using the Fey Crossing in the fane outside the windmill. Alongside her daughters, she killed many Ravens and Wereravens that had come to investigate, and began to see them all as her enemies.

Posing as an old Human baker peddling her wares in the Village of Barovia, Morgantha lived outside the settlement with her two "Human" daughters. Over her years in business, Morgantha began to be called "Granny" around the village, and was often seen pushing a wooden cart around to sell fresh baked goods to the citizens. She developed a good reputation for selling her Dream Pastry, said to produce better sleep and good dreams to those who's lives were nightmarish. The people would grow addicted to these properties, to the point where they would sell their loved ones in exchange for the baking.
