Great Ulfa ultimately was lackadaisical as a leader, however, and her tribe's nonstop raiding began to anger the people of Khazalet. She eventually slain in her own bedchambers by an invading adventuring party in Forge Of Fury; using a Potion of Animal Friendship, Morgran Frostbeard-Axethrower charmed Vak and Thrag to turn on her, and they ripped their master to death.
An Ogre hailing from the southern Crowncrest Mountains, "Great" Ulfa used her size and intimidating presence to take command over various roving Orc bands in the region. She lead many of them south of the mountains to the hills north of the Dotted Plains, and eventually stumbled upon the Stone Tooth; there, she found the ancient Dwarf bastion of Khundrukar.
She set up rotating watches and beat back encroaching Troglodytes and Stirges that came from the lower floors, maintaining an uneasy peace with Kaarghaz's forces. Using the dwarf-door entrance as a base of operations, she used her bands of orcs to raid nearby communities and attack traveling merchants. Between this and further plundering Khundrukar, the orcs filled the caverns with mundane goods and detritus, but also managed to amass a somewhat sizeable fortune.
Alongside her two Dire Wolf pets Vak and Thrag, Great Ulfa was set up for a comfortable life as the queen of Khundrukar's first level.
