A Theurge native to Cliffsunder in Commona, Ingrid Iskola trained as an acolyte of Umera as well as an arcane Spellcaster at the Whiteharbour Academy. She developed a reputation as a powerful hero, and would eventually team up with famed monster hunter and fellow Whiteharbour alumni Rudolph van Richten. The two bonded over shared philosophies and understanding of their goddess, and eventually fell in love. They married, with Ingrid adopting van Richten's last name, and eventually had a child together, who they named Erasmus.
However, parenthood did not stop their desire to fight the Undead, and the couple continued to investigate when they heard of Dwarf Ghosts gathering around Copperbreach. After a perilous journey through the Snoutridge, tragedy fell on the van Richten family when Ingrid was overtaken by a ghost and thrown off a mountain peak; Rudolph was too late to save her as she fell into the mists below. He eventually recovered her body and Spellbook, and she was buried with them at their home in Avenir.
