Start: 10th of Nasim, morning, after long rest in Rivelish with the departing brood of Corbo "Fang" Leonourt. Leveled up to 18, long rested, and with Piddlewick II.
The party decided to travel back to Olessar - they traveled through the wilderness of Tanadur and sailed across the Boreal Channel, arriving in Port Ghamd on the 24th of Nasim. They then teleported to Sedesend and learned the state of the world:
Beskem and his Celestials had occupied Rookmore and Draakbarrow, with Duvonte as the base. Vindator, the Scion of Beskem, assumed control of the Knights Duvonte, placing themselves above Elise Recondere in the church. All Celestial forces congregated in Duvonte to be sent out across Al'tehrun to their stations. Ket Judinor and Olizan took Draakbarrow as the first forward operating base. Eosus populated Rookmore as the second holy site of Beskem and was the foothold of Beskem for the country of Olessar. Tutenk, another Solar of equal rank to Eosus and Ket Judinor, was in charge of taking Resonaegis but was halted by local resistance of Constructs. Attempts to take Verdobe and the Hafasahn Highlands region were met with swift retaliation by the Chrysun Gales, leaving the region as tense but unoccupied.
The forces of Bellua rose up from the Void, through Umbradeep at to the surface. They gathered primarily within the wilds of Wethucia, moving north and west. They besieged Valduumia and Sedesend, and were moving towards Troubridge across the southwestern portion of Olessar. The magical defenses of all those cities have been sufficient so far to ward off attacks, but the density of Monstrosities and Fiends (Demons) only increases.
Basilius Rex grows restless, eager to strike at Beskem but without organization or a decisive advantage, he bides his time with Bill's Bimbos.
In Sedesend, the party hunkered down and aided Nesdin with researching a way to replace the Ends of Empyrean. For 3 weeks, they studied and researched and developed. With 3 Arcana checks coming to a total of 122, Nesdin made what he believed to be an improved way of separating the Deities from Al'tehrun: Nesdin's Kindred Veil.
Ending the study on the 17th of Qatima, and with tensions rising across the world, the party decided to try to weaken the grasp of Beskem by intervening within Resonaegis. . They met up with Picot Bassett and got a lead on some of the missing artificers - the last one, Ferik Anneal, was on his was to the warehouse south of Resonaegis which was TAFFI's home for supplies but hadn't returned. The party set out.
Arriving at the warehouse, they entered and met Fallon - an elderly gnomish artificer man who was looking to give materials to Ferik Anneal. Something seemed off, and Rohtagels opened his senses to the divine, and sensed powerful Celestial presence from Fallon and from the locker room door. Seeing that he'd been made, Fallon transformed into his true form - an Archaic. A battle ensued, and Fallon successfully trapped most of Bill's Bimbos in his demiplane. However, Calliope resisted, and Rohtagels freed himself enough to grab Nesdin and escape. On the brink of defeat, as Rohtagels and Nesdin pushed back through the demiplanar gate, Fallon and the entrance disappeared.
