On the 15th of Airtifae, 1113 GE, Mother was defeated by Bill's Bimbos using the Titan Apparatus, Using the massive expulsion of Primordial power along with the rapidly escalating power differential of the Codas as they fill the void with Divine power, Qafiali stole Earthsplitter and used it to finally sunder a hole in the Ends of Empyrean, through and through.
With 2 layers left on his summoned Prismatic Wall and a natural 20 on his attack roll, Qafiali allowed a total of 4 Deities to pass through: 2 wholly (Basilius Rex with Sentence's aid and the direct connection with Calliope, then Beskem with Earthsplitter's aid) and 2 partially (Bellua and Lystellbor were most readily poised to enter, and their influence is significantly increased though they did not pass fully through immediately).
The result of this:
- Basilius Rex on the material plane, most commonly adopting his hell hound form, and landed from Sentence beside the then-wielder Calliope. He sought to repair the Ends of Empyrean and return to the previous status quo of no divine intervention. He valued nature over nurture and was especially happy with the period of inter-society conflict and conquest across Al'tehrun in the millenium after their separation
- Beskem on the material plane, most commonly adopting his massive suit of armor form, and landed with his boots on either side of Sedesend over the then-wielder Qafiali.
- Lystellbor, stationed at the end of the Ends of Empyrean, exerting their influence to aid Beskem and sending legions of Celestials and angels to support his goals of protection and direction.
- Bellua, similarly stationed at the edge of her portion of the Ends of Empyrean from her prison-plane of the Void, sought to use this opportunity to test humanity and sent Fiends and Monstrosities of her creation/influence across Al'tehrun to fight its current inhabitants.
The state of the world as a result of the Return: Beskem unifies many devout followers of the Diviners, most prominently the city-state of Duvonte and the Knights Duvonte across Al'tehrun. They have direct contact with Beskem, and most would follow his divine instruction to pursue his goals. They would be aided by the angels of Lystellbor and come into direct conflict with the creatures summoned by Bellua (and possibly commanded by Basilius Rex). Basilius Rex had preferential treatment for the Bill's Bimbos and their goals, but also would support the Olessar empire.
For society, Olessar and Duvonte would effectively be at war as patron Deities take each side. Bellua and Lystellbor forces populating Al'tehrun lead to further conflicts involving humanoids of every origin and allegiance, and collateral damage akin to the Cataclysm (~80% of the living population) would be expected if not ended by a third party (Bill's Bimbos and allies).
