When the Third Rider Yannick Azizi put out a quest to investigate Khundrukar, she answered the call, and joined a band of other "dwarves" in Forge Of Fury: Morgran Frostbeard-Axethrower, Wurgym Caurakril, and Lazarus of Khazalet. On their quest, they slew a variety of interlopers that had taken residence in Khundrukar, and managed to take nearly all the available wealth from the mountain. She also encountered Lazarus of Khundrukar, who she recognized as being a similar model to the Thrakûr-Gundak, the Epochal Artifact of her homeland.
Suddenly possessing extreme riches, she made her way below to the Black Lake, which was inhabited by the young Black Dragon Zyrmintyl. Their party of dwarves planned to slay the dragon and take her horde, but found themselves overwhelmed by her power. As a peace cleric, Bialwa was mostly concerned with keeping her companions alive, and things were turning dire. She parleyed with the dragon, giving away all of their valuables, and left Khundrukar poorer than she started.
In low spirits, the party mostly split up, but she mentioned to Lazarus the him being a living suit of armor made her think of the Mantle of the First Forge. With nowhere else to go, the two began to journey together to find out the mystery of who Lazarus was supposed to be.
