Ramos Stormforged was an exceptionally large youth, born within the military enclave of Fort Verdane. He grew up heading stories of the Unholy Siege Of Fort Verdane, learning to regard the Elthysi Sovereign with fear. Surrounded by soldiers, Fighters, and strategists, he eventually became both an accomplished Fighter and Mage. His reputation was built on his performance during raids into the Howling Hollowland, where his physical strength and leadership impressed his superiors. This history of service led to his appointment as the head of the high security prison on Aone Island.
He managed Bleak End with the same diligence he applied to his time in the infantry. Ramos oversaw the administrative center in the central tower and monitored the complex logistics of the remote outpost. While he was a serious leader who demanded order, he possessed a kinder and more generous nature than typical military officers. This temperament made him a popular figure among the guards who lived under his command, though he developed a reputation of constantly disappearing outside for smoke breaks.
Tamos knew his inmates as well as his guards, and had a particularly strong relationship with the mainstay chef of Bleak End, Tiny Tulvrak. He relied heavily on Captain Placidia Liepina to execute his orders to run the prison, while he focused on the broader mandate of the Council of Commonlight. He viewed his role at Bleak End as a final guard post against the Elthysi enemy, a fort less prepared than the one he grew up in, and constantly scanned the Sound of Silveril for unexpected threats.
