The statue of Shahanshah Adrastus I Pelegon in the garden
The Garden of the Emperors, also called the Marble Garden and the Imperial Garden, is a garden located in the courtyard of the Golden Palace. It is a lush and verdant space, attended by a small army of gardeners to maximize its beauty. Several rare and valuable flowers and plants grow there, including some rare spices imported from far corners of the world. The most notable part of the garden is its statues. The garden contains large white marble statues of each Shahanshah.
The Garden is one of two displays of the Shahanshahs in the palace, the other being the Imperial Portrait Gallery. While the paintings in the Gallery are highly stylized, the statues in the Garden are true to life.
