The Grand Vizier of Pelegon is the chief advisor of the Shahanshah. They are generally seen as the "second-in-command" of the Empire, and their duties include leading armies, drafting laws, and managing the day-to-day running of the Empire. In periods when the Shahanshah is unable to rule, the Grand Vizier usually serves as regent, or will head a regency council should one be formed.
Grand Viziers reside in the Vizier's Manor, located on the grounds of the Imperial Palace in Arcanopolis.
The badge of office for the Grand Vizier is a cluster of peacock feathers, and this symbol is used on official seals of the Vizier.
The most common accessory of the Grand Vizier is the peacock feather fan. It is a high crime for anyone else to use a peacock feather fan in the presence of the Grand Vizier (except for members of the Imperial Family)
